Not to forget our Swimming pool. This offers Young and old Bathing fun in wind and weather. And in combination with sauna and solarium an ideal place for relaxation. Perhaps you also have a desire for one of our relaxing massages.

A lot of variety in the surroundings

Hiking and cycling Motor vehicles are not allowed in the nature reserves of the Lüneburg Heath. Therefore, nature can be explored here in peace on the signposted hiking trails. With the Freudenthalweg (Hamburg-Harburg to Verden) and the Jakobsweg (Harber (Soltau) to Mariensee) there are two big hiking trails nearby (approx. 70 min. drive), which offer historical sights along the way. If you prefer cycling, there are more than 2,000 kilometers of cycling trails in the Lüneburg Heath. Rivers and dreamy lakes provide variety in the flat landscape.

Suhlendorf Handicraft Museum

Directly in the idyllic Suhlendorf you can experience the change of the handicraft in the last 100 years in historical workshops and workplaces of potters, blacksmiths, saddlers and many others.

Amusement parks

Heide-Park Resort in Soltau (approx. 70 min. drive): The Heide-Park Resort awaits you with water rides, carousels, the largest wooden roller coaster in Europe and many other attractions. - Serengeti Park, Hodenhagen (approx. 90 min. drive): With four different areas, the Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen offers interesting insights into the world of animals, and the Freizeitland also features more than 40 rides for young and old alike. - Vogelpark Walsrode (approx. 90 min. drive): The world's largest bird park is located in Walsrode in the Lüneburg Heath. With over 700 species, birds from all over the world and every climate zone are presented here. Walk-through enclosures and a unique flight show offer visitors special attractions and unique experiences. - Fairytale Park Salzwedel (approx. 30 min. drive): Here, children and parents go on a fairytale discovery tour. On the large area of about 45,000 square meters, 50 huts present a variety of fairy tales and legends. Many other surprises await the whole family.

Cities and castles

Uelzen (approx. 20 min. drive): The historic town center of Uelzen, with its half-timbered gables, takes you back to times long past. Visit the St. Marien Church with the Golden Ship and the Uhlenköper Monument. Particularly worth seeing is the Hundertwasser train station, designed according to plans by the famous Austrian artist Friedensreich. - Lüneburg (approx. 50 min. drive): Lüneburg looks back on a history of over 1,000 years. Wealth was brought to the city by the salt trade, in which it had a monopoly position for a long time. This also made the city an early member of the Hanseatic League. This successful history is reflected today in the cityscape in well-preserved Gothic facades. Several museums (Heinrich-Heine-Haus, Deutsches Salz-Museum, Museum Fürstentum Lüneburg and Ostpreußisches Landesmuseum) present the history and personalities of the city in varied exhibitions. - Burg Bodenteich (approx. 20 min. drive): Very close to the Ferien- & Reitsport-Hotel Brunnenhof is the castle Bodenteich. Here you can visit the castle museum or practice archery, medieval baking or sword fighting in one of the offered adventure seminars. For the little ones there is a medieval playground.
